About Us We are a pioneering Lending-as-a-Service (LaaS) startup with a mission to digitize and streamline B2B credit processes across Latin America. What we’re looking for Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and improve our technical infrastructure, ensuring it operates efficiently and effectively for our lending solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of engineering principles and a commitment to preventative maintenance and quick problem resolution. Working closely with the Engineering Team, you'll be instrumental in the upkeep of our systems and infrastructure. Your expertise will help in identifying potential issues before they become problems and in implementing solutions that enhance system reliability and performance. You'll also support our Customer Success team by addressing infrastructure-related queries and issues. In this role, your contributions will be key to maintaining the smooth operation of our lending platform, supporting our mission of financial inclusivity in Latin America. Responsibilities Conduct daily infrastructure and integration tests to ensure system reliability and performance. Collaborate closely with the development team to understand user requirements for systems in production, focusing on maximizing usability. Work proficiently with APIs, with a preference for candidates experienced in scrapping or Robotic Process Automation (RPA). Develop and execute test plans and cases, analyze results, report and document technical issues. Development and implementation of automated testing scripts and tooling using Python. Proactively identify areas for improvement in the software development process. Collaborate with the Engineering Team to identify and resolve potential system issues. Provide support for infrastructure-related customer queries, ensuring a high standard of service. Implement effective solutions for system enhancement and reliability. Participate in the development of maintenance protocols and documentation. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 1-2 years of professional experience in a Maintenance Engineer, QA, DEVOPS or similar role. Strong coding skills, particularly in Python. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently, demonstrating a high level of initiative and proactivity in problem-solving. Aptitude for learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies. Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
